What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Millwork Subcontractor position at American Cabinet Works?
A successful Project Manager at American Cabinet Works, Inc. will provide the highest level of service and quality implementing all members of the construction team starting with preconstruction services, throughout project construction, and finishing with successful project close out.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management.
- Must be able to perform project pre-construction activities including, estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling.
- Manage project scheduling, scheduling updates, schedule management and documentation.
- Responsible for project quality control and quality assurance that construction meets or exceeds the plans, specifications, and approved shop drawings.
- Responsible for change order estimating, tracking and commitments.
- Project documentation, correspondence, records, paperwork, shop drawings, submittals, procurement schedule, RFI’s etc..
- Open communication with management.
