Dauch is looking for two IT College Co-ops to join our team in Minerva, OH, with one opening on 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and one opening on 3rd shift 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM). The IT Co-Op will provide hands-on technical support for plant operations, enterprise infrastructure, and manufacturing technology systems. Job Description:
- Individual contributor that has a solid understanding and application of theoretical principals of computer systems
- Performs a variety of duties and tasks including secure set up, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various network and communication systems
- Researches and documents technical systems to maintain documentation library/knowledge base to ensure proper monitoring and security
- Applies standard application engineering and security techniques, practices, procedures, and criteria in all but the most complex situations
- Assist in identifying and building alerts for evolving network threats
- Solves fairly complex user inquiries that may arise during day-to-day operations
- Performs assignments under minor direction and supervision
- Ability to work independently, and as a member of multi-functional team.
- Communicate effectively with broader security and IT teams, end users, and other staff who may have no technical background.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology or related field fulltime.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later
- Available to work 25-40 hours each week, year-round.
- Minimum GPA 3.0 or above.
- Familiarity with basic Networking principles & protocols including TCP/IP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligible to work in the U.S without Visa sponsorship.
