Position Summary Provides support for a variety of administrative activities including phones, onsite visitors, publication fulfillment, department and staff meeting events in the office, conference support and other administrative support tasks. Provides administrative support to a variety of association departments including operations, HR, conferences, membership and accounting. Receives visitors and provides phone support and customer service. Monitors incoming and outgoing mail Opens and routes. Distributes magazines and publications. Logs checks received by mail and mails them to the lockbox. Turns on the copier and postage Monitors AACN’s Primary email inbox and responds to and/or forwards incoming inquiries to the staff member responsible. Responsible for working under the direction of and with the Office Manager to maintain general office organization and cleanliness of workroom and kitchen. Supports in-house meetings across all departments including submitting guest lists, supporting catering for the event, and other support as requested. Supports staff lunch events as requested. Processes orders for publications and mailing list Provides support to conference department as requested by the Director of Conferences including mailings, copying, badges, assembling packets, packing boxes, arranging for shipping to and from conference sites, Ships conference boxes and assists with unpacking/organizing/offsite storage of conference materials upon Provides shipping and tracking reports, and coordinates courier services.
