The University of Hawaii at Manoa, School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene (SONDH) is the premier nursing program in the State of Hawaii, located in Honolulu, on the Island of Oahu. It is the only doctoral/research university-intensive institution in Hawaii, dedicated to improving health through education, research, and service. The SONDH provides instructional, clinical and research activities to enhance the health and care of diverse populations in the State of Hawaii and the Asia-Pacific region.
The SONDH invites qualified, dynamic and dedicated individual to apply for a tenure-leading, full-time, 11-month faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to manage the UH Translational Health Science Simulation Center (THSSC). The UH THSSC brings real-life scenarios to the classroom so that students can gain the experience, confidence and skills they need to provide quality care. The center integrates state-of-the-art equipment, electronic patient records and practices currently used by the state’s leading medical centers.
