Traditional BSN Program Director

Description

The University of Providence invites applications for the Director of the Vander Werff traditional BSN program. This is a full-time, on-campus faculty leadership role with tenure eligibility and rank commensurate with experience.

Reporting to the BSN Programs Chair and working closely with the Dean, the Director provides strategic and operational leadership for the BSN program, ensuring academic excellence, accreditation compliance, and student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead program development, evaluation, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with CCNE accreditation and state regulatory standards
• Oversee day-to-day program operations and academic delivery
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty
• Support student recruitment, retention, and success initiatives
• Coordinate clinical placements and maintain strong healthcare partnerships
• Represent the program internally and externally
  
  

Qualifications

• MSN required; DNP or PhD in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 5 years in nursing education
• Leadership experience in higher education or healthcare
• Experience with accreditation and program evaluation
• Eligible for Montana nursing licensure
