Legal Intern – Fall Semester
The Legal Department of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) is seeking 1-2 law students for a paid internship opportunity during the Fall 2025 semester.Interns will work approximately 5–10 hours per week on a flexible schedule. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various areas of the Legal Department’s work. including in alternative dispute resolution, privacy, and AI governance.

Internship Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and writing on topics related to ADR, privacy law, and AI governance, among others.
- Assist with internal legal analyses and memoranda.
- Attend certain committee meetings and prepare meeting notes.
- Current 1L, 2L, or 3L student at an accredited law school.
- Demonstrated interest in alternative dispute resolution, privacy law, and/or AI governance.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Location: Remote or In-Person (NYC) (location flexibility based on intern availability)
- Time Commitment: 5–10 hours per week
- Compensation: Paid internship - $25 per hour
