Finance Administrator (2026-30)

Overview

The Finance Administrator supports AAA’s mission by performing essential financial and clerical duties related to the administration of arbitration and mediation cases. Key responsibilities include computing and recording accurate financial data while reconciling discrepancies. Provides financial expertise and support to operations including the review of financial transactions, review and processing of panelist invoices, reconciliation of end of case finances.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement; candidates must reside at a U.S. location within 125 miles of their assigned office location. Compensation will be determined based on geographic location.

  • Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX ; Fresno, CA - $52,600 - $55,700
  • Johnston, RI - $53,500 - $56,600
  • New York, NY - $62,100 - $65,700

This position is also eligible for quarterly performance-based incentives.

Essential Functions

  • Utilizes the internal reporting system and controls to ensure that case finance operations for the division comply with the AAA's policies and procedures.
  • Computes, classifies, and records data to keep financial records complete.
  • Checks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes, keeping case managers informed of transactions and data.
  • Classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records.
  • Review, compute, and process panelist invoices using correct party allocations.
  • Reconciles, notes, and reports discrepancies found in financial records, and develops and implements quality control measures.
  • Provides financial expertise and support on active and closed cases.
  • Performs general office duties such as answering telephones, handling routine correspondence, data entry, uploading documents, maintaining calendars and appointments, and inter-office communications.
  • Collaborates with staff to ensure effective case management, excellent client service, good neutrals relations, and effective Divisional/Center operations.
  • Attends on-site and in-person meetings and training sessions.
  • Ensures confidentiality of case information and case records; adheres to the AAA's information security and data privacy policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Demonstrates regular, reliable, predictable job attendance.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED in finance-related discipline and 0-2 years of relevant experience (bookkeeping, accounting/accounts payable role, etc.) required.
