- Define and communicate Cargo’s strategic objectives, aligning them with enterprise priorities and market trends.
- Oversee the Cargo strategic portfolio, ensuring prioritization, resource allocation, and successful execution of initiatives.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify key decisions, frame issues, and gain consensus on strategic initiatives.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships across operations, commercial, customer experience, finance, and technology to connect vision with actionable plans.
- Present strategic recommendations and progress updates to executive leadership, influencing decisions at the highest levels.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Establish governance frameworks to track progress, manage risks, and ensure accountability for results.
- Mentor and develop team members to achieve organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 7 years of experience in strategy, operations, finance, technology, or consulting roles
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar).
- Experience in airline or cargo operations.
- Familiarity with technology strategy and portfolio management.
- Expertise in strategic planning and portfolio management
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Effective communication and consensus-building abilities
- Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leadership
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to leverage data analytics tools
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
