What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wound Care Supervisor position at American Advanced Management, Inc?
The Wound Care Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Wound Care program as directed by management. Responsibilities include education, data reporting, supervising employees, as well as providing direct and indirect patient care, implementation and evaluation of care in draining wounds, fistulas, pressure sores, skin breakdown and incontinence.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing;
- Must hold a current state license (RN) and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing;
- One to two years of wound care supervisory experience preferred
- Three to five years current wound care experience;
- One to three years med/surg nursing experience;
- Certification in wound care and sharp debridement procedures preferred;
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills;
