What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Tech/Lab Scients position at American Advanced Management, Inc?
POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision and according to departmental policies and professional standards, performs and reviews various complex clinical laboratory procedures in one of more sections of Laboratory. This position is per diem and will require travel to/from our Kentfield location to our San Francisco location on an as needed basis.
POSITION SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises the following positions: None or Phlebotomist as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree in compliance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act and Amendments (CLIA) required.
- Current, valid and active National Board Certification required, or eligible for National Certification as an MLT or CLT (MLT NCA) or categorical certification in the related clinical laboratory discipline.
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Experience preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSURES, REGISTRATIONS
- Current, valid and active National Board Certification required, or eligible for National Certification as an MLT or CLT (MLT NCA) or categorical certification in the related clinical laboratory discipline. Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required.

- Regular and punctual attendance is required.
