The Network Administrator I is responsible for supporting the credit union’s in-house computer hardware, software systems, and network and security connections. This position will also assist in project management support, help desk support, resolve end-user hardware, software programs, phone systems, and connectivity issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training where required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Focus on Purpose: Focused on the credit union's purpose of creating financial wellness in our community through everyday banking.
- Network and Security Monitoring: Monitor the credit union’s IT network and security systems to ensure minimum disruption to service levels. Responsible for reporting all network and security change activities.
- IT Team Help Desk Support: Collaborates with IT team on help desk support
- Collaboration: Collaborate with necessary teams in all discussions relevant to support project management pertinent to IT.
- Phone System Support: Supports in administrating and maintaining phone networks, voice systems, and equipment.

- Policy: Follow all credit union policies and procedures, including policies and procedures for customer identification and all BSA requirements
- Event Support: Serves as a credit union representative within the community and is actively visible at credit union events and credit union-sponsored events.

Requirements:
- A minimum education of associate degree.
- Preferred 4-year degree in Information Technology with cybersecurity focus
- Ability and aptitude to analyze and resolve highly technical problems relating to network server and infrastructure issues.
- Excellent analytical, customer support, and interpersonal skills required.
- Must have working technical knowledge of networks, servers, PCs, and operating systems.
- Must have experience with data management.
- Must be flexible with working hours.
- Work schedules occasionally change on short notice to cover unexpected business needs. Available to respond to network issues/problems on a 24/7 basis.
- Licensed driver, ability to travel from location to location.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Will have hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Will be adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Will have proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
