Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, the Dean of Students supports a safe, positive, and orderly school environment for all students in grades TK–8. The Dean of Students works closely with administration, teachers, students, and families to promote positive student behavior, reinforce schoolwide expectations, and support student success. Responsibilities include supporting student supervision, addressing student behavior and discipline, implementing schoolwide behavior systems, coordinating restorative practices, communicating with families, and assisting with student support processes. The Dean of Students helps foster a positive school culture where students feel safe, respected, and ready to learn.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience: Three (3) or more years of teaching experience and instructional leadership. Education: • A minimum of a Master's Degree and a California Administrative Credential. Required Documents: • Current Resume • Letter of Intent • Copy of California Administrative Credential • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 12 months (it is recommended that at least one (1) come from an immediate supervising administrator).
