Welder Sand and grind welds as needed to meet appropriate quality and production standardsSelf-sufficient on start-up and shutdown equipment proceduresSelect appropriate weld setting to obtain a quality weldCut and fabricate parts from raw stock material Assemble and weld components for products Use measuring tape and other tools Operate all necessary equipment to assemble and weld componentsPerform quality checks of parts as needed including effective use of calipers, micrometers, and functional gaugesWork with other employees to complete assemblies on multiple person operationsCheck welds for strength Conduct welding equipment maintenance and repairs as needed Always follow strict safety guidelines and protocols Collaborate with team members to ensure project success and timely completionCheck and inspect all partsMove finished assemblies to appropriate area Job QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentBasic mechanical abilitiesBasic mathematical abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)Organizational and communication skillsDesire to learn new skills and improve knowledgeStrong orientation toward:Safety, quality, and continuous improvement demonstrated by a work history of safe performance, accuracy and attention to detail in the work performed, constructive problem solving and suggestions for improvement, ability to effectively implement or respond to change, punctuality and consistent work attendanceUnderstanding and support of Company policies and procedures, including those related to Safety Ameri-Force Benefits As part of the Ameri-Force team, a recognized ESOP company, you have a personal stake in the collective success of the organization, fostering a collaborative and rewarding work environment.
