The SLP will serve elementary school students, collaborating with staff to support communication and academic success.
Position Overview
- Location: Battle Ground, WA
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- Duration: 6 months (through end of school year)
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Openings: 1 position available
- Pay Rate: $65–$70 per hour DOE
- Conduct evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary school students
- Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with professional standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Washington preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by state/contract
- Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience preferred
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements
- Current CPR certification, if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Virtual interview with Administrator in Special Services
- Feedback provided within 24–48 hours
