Pay: $28/hour, paid weekly
Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in a behavioral setting
- Must be comfortable working 1 on 1, sometimes with severe cases
- Valid driver's license, and use of a personal vehicle to transport residents as needed
- Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major
- High school degree or equivalent
- Routine lifting
- Ability to work either Saturday or Sunday
- Knowledge of medical equipment
- Committed to trauma-informed approach
Job Duties
- Initiate constructive activities that address goals on a client's Individual treatment plan
- Implement support and crisis plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Facilitate community inclusion, daily living, and skill acquisition
- Utilization of sound judgement and maintenance of calm demeanor during crisis
- Provide needed behavioral and/or mental health support
- Provide needed personal and/or medical care
