Salary: $70.00 - $95.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Shift & Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Job Description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract position in San Bernardino or Los Angeles County. In this role, you will perform student evaluations, develop specialized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to help students achieve academic and social success.

Essential Duties

• Assess & Diagnose: Evaluate student communication skills including articulation, fluency, voice, and expressive/receptive language.
• IEP Management: Develop treatment plans, coordinate IEP meetings, and present evaluation results to parents and school staff.
• Direct Therapy: Provide targeted speech and language therapy to minimize the educational impact of communication disorders.
• Assistive Technology: Instruct students on utilizing communication devices, FM systems, and hearing aids.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate student files, progress reports, activity logs, and billing documentation.
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• License: Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of California (Required)
• Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (Preferred)
• Experience: One (1) year of prior professional SLP (Preferred)
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency and excellent communication skills
• Age: Must be at least 18 years of age
  
  

Ability To Relocate/Commute:

• San Bernardino County, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work with assistance (Required)
