Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating students and delivering therapy services in alignment with individualized plans of care and physician orders. This role supports students’ academic and social success by addressing speech, language, voice, and communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students.
- Provide and document therapy services per IEP requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate records in the EMR system (Relay) with weekly updates.
- Active SLP license in the state of assignment.
- CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by state/contract).
- Compliance with professional standards and all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Current CPR certification (if applicable).
- Health and TB clearance per state requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Type: In-person only
- Openings: Multiple
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Full school year
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, up to 33.75 hours/week
- Caseload: Elementary or middle school students
