Position Overview

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, provides high-quality services to special education students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. This role partners closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized student programs, provide specialized instruction, offer academic support, and collaborate with general education teams to foster student success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction and academic support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Participate in educational planning and team meetings
• Support inclusive learning environments that promote student achievement
