- Location: Chicago, IL
- Pay: Up to $55 Hourly
- Caseload: K-8th Grade
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in grades K-8th.
- Collaborate with general education staff to ensure successful inclusion and individualized learning plans.
- Serve as a Special Education Case Manager, leading IEP development and implementation.
- Monitor student progress, prepare IEP report cards, and maintain compliance documentation.

- Support: Paid breaks, professional resources, and administrative backing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).
- Certification: Valid state teaching certificate (Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement required).
- Experience: At least one year in a teaching environment (preferred).
- Additional Requirements:
- CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB screening and health certificate per state regulations
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Minimum age: 18
