Middle School Science Teacher (Grades 6–8) – 2 Openings
Pay: $40/hour | Full-Time | 39-Week School Year
We are hiring two engaging and student-centered Science Teachers for grades 6–8. In this role, you will inspire curiosity, build scientific literacy, and help students connect science concepts to real-world challenges and future careers through hands-on learning and inquiry.
Schedule- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- August – June (39 weeks)
- 40 hours per week
- Teach science aligned to Wisconsin Academic Standards
- Lead hands-on labs and inquiry-based investigations
- Integrate STEM and real-world problem-solving
- Support diverse learners through differentiated instruction
- Use data and assessments to drive student growth
- Collaborate with grade-level and cross-functional teams
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom
- Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.)
- Valid Wisconsin DPI License:
- Science (1601) or
- MC–EA (1088)
- Experience with NGSS and lab safety preferred
- Passionate about middle school education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
