Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide quality care in a school clinic setting. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule as well as flexible PRN shifts, giving you the perfect balance of stability and flexibility.
Requirement: 1 year pediatric experience
Pay: $28/hr
Location: Hillsborough County Public Schools
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: PRN or Full Time Openings (37.5 hrs/week)
Shift length: 8 hours (30 minute break)
Length of Contract: Remainder of School Year and opportunity to extend next school year

About The Role

Responsibilities
- Provide routine and emergency health care to students during school hours
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication logs
- Perform basic health assessments and monitor chronic conditions
- Respond promptly to injuries and illnesses, following school health protocols
- Document all health-related visits and maintain confidential student records
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs
- Support health education initiatives and promote wellness within the school community
- Ensure compliance with state and district health regulations
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience
- Active LPN license in Florida
- Current BLS Certification
- Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
- Minimum one year prior Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
