Urgent Hire: School Nurse (LPN) – 1:1 Pediatric Care
Location: West Virginia
Assignment Length: 8 weeks
Schedule: 30–35 hours per week
Pay Rate: $35/hour
We are urgently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 8-week school-based assignment providing 1:1 care for a young student. This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate nurse who enjoys working with children in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to a pediatric student during the school day
- Administer and manage medications as prescribed
- Monitor and document intake and output
- Perform and monitor Chest PT via vest therapy
- Observe and report any changes in student condition
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and healthcare regulations
- Current LPN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact license
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a school environment
- Must pass a 12-panel drug screening
