- Position Overview
As a School Aide in Burbank, you will work under the direction of the Special Education Department, classroom teacher, and/or designated supervisor. Your role will include:
- Providing instructional and behavioral support to students
- Assisting with personal and mobility needs
- Supporting therapeutic care as outlined by licensed healthcare or rehabilitation professionals
- Helping maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray (as required)
- Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Compliance with professional standards of practice
- Must be at least 18 years old
