The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergentcritical care areas.
Travel RN – Emergency Department
$2,002 weekly includes housing & meals
Location: Texarkana, TX 75503
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
36 hours weekly
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Full-time, every other weekend; blocked schedule not guaranteed
Float: Required to all ED locations
Summary
Provide routine and complex emergency nursing care independently, following ANA Scope and Standards of Practice. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, medication administration, documentation, and patient/family education. Must manage contingencies and delegate appropriately.

Requirements
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: 1 year ED nursing preferred
- Licenses/Certifications:
- RN License (TX or Compact)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only)
- TNCC required
- Orientation: New Nurse Orientation within 30 days; competency validation required
- Residency program available for newly licensed RNs
