What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
The RN (Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Lab) specializes in working with patients undergoing procedures in a EP lab. During cardiac catheterizations, these specially trained nurses assist the medical team by monitoring the patient’s vitals, assisting with procedural sedatives, assisting doctors, technicians, nurses and the patients.

Minimum Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a current state license where they will be working
- ACLS may be required by state/client contract
- Minimum of 2 years EP or Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
