Patient Access Representative
Role and Responsibilities:
Review appointment requests and AI-generated scheduling and intake recommendations.
Assess the reasoning quality and appropriateness of AI-identified time slots, visit types, intake workflows, and resource allocation across scheduling scenarios.
Identify cases where AI recommendations diverge from effective scheduling and intake practices and explain why.
Describe the operational reasoning behind scheduling decisions to our product team to improve AI recommendations — particularly how to recognize scheduling constraints (provider availability, room capacity, appointment type requirements), how to balance access with efficiency, and how to handle complex intake workflows (new patient onboarding, follow-up coordination, procedure prep).
Critique presentations and provide subject matter expertise to our GTM team.
Required Credentials:
Minimum 1 year hospital or health system scheduling / intake coordination experience.
Knowledge of appointment types, clinical workflows, and patient onboarding processes.
Experience with scheduling systems and patient communication
Multi-specialty scheduling experience preferred.
Certifications/Credentials preferred – CHAA, CHAM, NHA, CMMA, CEHRS
