Medical Assistant - Primary Care / OBAT Clinic Settings
Location: Lynn, MA
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks (with potential extension)

Position OverviewWe are seeking 2 Medical Assistants to join a dynamic, patient-centered care team supporting Primary Care and OBAT (Addiction Treatment) clinics. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Available Schedules (Priority Order)1. Primary Care Clinic- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Preferred: 1 evening shift per week (11:30 AM – 8:00 PM)
- Evening availability preferred but not required
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

- Provide high-touch patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Support clinic operations by managing patient flow and provider schedules
- Room patients and obtain:
- Vital signs
- Measurements
- Required screenings
- Accurately collect and document:
- Chief complaints
- Allergies
- Medical history
- Psychosocial information in the EHR
- Perform:
- Point-of-care testing
- Screenings
- Specimen collection
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures
- Assist providers with exams and procedures, including:
- Patient positioning
- Gowning and draping
- Ensure all documentation and forms are ready prior to visits
- Anticipate patient care needs by identifying required tests and entering orders in the EHR
- Communicate delays and help optimize both patient experience and provider efficiency
- May be required to float between units or departments based on operational needs
- All clinic locations are within close proximity
- Strong adaptability and teamwork are essential
- Experienced Medical Assistant comfortable in fast-paced outpatient settings
- Familiar with EHR documentation and patient-centered workflows
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible and team-oriented mindset
