The Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for collecting information which will serve as the basis for
evaluating the credit worthiness of perspective client applications as well as monitor the financial
condition and payment performance of current Maxim clients. The Credit Analyst plays a significant role
in enabling the Credit Management team to maintain the high quality of Amergis' Accounts Receivables
while helping the company achieve its growth goals. Using various credit analysis tools and independent
research, this position will work collaboratively with the Credit Management team to approve credit, set
credit limits and actively monitor clients’ credit worthiness.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Builds a credit profile of current and potential clients by investigating their credit worthiness through the use of Dun and Bradstreet, internet searches, analysis of financial statements, and internal information sources
- Works with Accounts Receivables, Contracts, regional management and other Maxim departments to obtain information and/or provide answers to their inquiries
- Effectively communicates, in a professional manner, with field business developers, regional management, corporate leadership, and client representatives in a way that enhances internal and external customer relationships
- Serves as an integral part of the Credit Management decision making process by providing detailed information to serve as the basis for credit decisions
- Represents the point of contact with Amergis' business developers and regional management for the collection and dissemination of credit related information
- Insures that the collection and storage of credit information through the SharePoint credit system and the repository of credit information is up to date and accurate
- Finds creative solutions to current problems and provides innovative suggestions for improving the credit management process
- Ability to come up with creative solutions to enable the business to grow while limiting risk
- Performs other duties as assigned
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a Business Related Degree
- 1-3 years related experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments and multitask to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and web/internet search methods
- The ability to work and contributed in a team environment
