In this role, you will deliver high-quality nutrition care—performing assessments, developing care plans, educating patients, and supporting ongoing clinical improvement. What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities (Level I & II):
- Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and create individualized care plans
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families
- Track patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal clinical outcomes
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in departmental quality improvement and compliance initiatives
- Serve as a team lead and resource for Level I Dietitians and interns
- Offer mentoring, training, and clinical guidance
- Assist with departmental workflow, operations, and coordination
Level I:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or related field
- 1 year of acute care experience preferred (flexible depending on position)
- Active BLS certification
- Completion of required education or supervised practice as mandated by state regulations
- Meets all Level I qualifications
- 2 years of acute care experience preferred
- 1 year of supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
- Completion of a coordinated program or dietetic internship with 900 supervised hours (preferred)
