What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hiring Para Educators - 26/27 School Year position at Amergis Educational Staffing?
Para Educators are individuals who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and/or supervising designee. May also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current CPR if applicable
- HS Diploma required
- Experience working in childcare, schools, caregiving highly preferred
- Data collection or ABA Therapy a plus
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be 18 years old
