What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Account Representative position at Amerequip Corp?
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with assigned customers, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and overall satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customer needs, inquiries, and escalations.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, balancing customer requirements with operational capabilities and production priorities.
- Provide timely and accurate updates on order status, product information, returns/credits, and delivery expectations.
Internal Collaboration & Communication
- Work proactively with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Scheduling, and Administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and information flow between Amerequip and customers.
- Partner with the sales team to support customer initiatives and exceed service expectations.
- Support Business Development team members when needed and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives.
Order & Data Management
- Assist with order and forecast placement, cancellations, and changes within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation to effectively communicate project updates, changes, and customer feedback.
- Work as a liaison between Operations/Scheduling and the customer to address product parameters or variables change.
Sales Support & Strategic Contribution
- Provide accurate and timely quotes, pricing, and product information that strategically meets service parts profitability objectives
- Assist in developing sales forecasts, annual sales plans, and participate in strategic planning efforts.
Leadership & Professional Conduct
- Act as a responsible and professional representative of Amerequip, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and upholding company values.
- Take initiative in executing tasks required by customers and tasks that support broader departmental and organizational goals.
- Work closely with functional leaders to ensure proper allocation of resources and support to meet customer commitments.
