What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Procurement Specialist position at Amer Technology, Inc?
Position will help identify and advise on procurement issues and cross-department process improvement. Position will also advise on Statements of Work (SOW) and other procurement documents as needed.
8 years -Demonstrate expertise and experience in all aspects of IT procurement - including but not limited to drafting and finalizing solicitation documents, evaluating vendor bids and strengths/weaknesses, and supporting negotiations for ultimate vendor selection
8 years - Demonstrate fluency and experience across technical and nontechnical IT services such as application development and management, network and telecommunications management, and information security, among other topics
8 Years - Possess a current knowledge of business trends, government regulations, software licensing practices, as well as negotiation and pricing techniques, to effectively find manufacturers for a technology product or service
8 Years - Ensure order fulfillment with vendors, assess bids/responses and negotiate pricing and delivery schedules.
8 Years - High proficiency in utilizing office productivity tools such as MS Office Suite and Share Point
8 Years - Expert skills in oral and written communication, negotiations, and conflict resolution
8 Years - Ability to work closely and effectively with a client team.
8 Years - Experience with one or more of the state of Texas government agencies.
