A.M.E. Inc. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to support our project management team and ensure smooth execution from job setup to closeout. Key Responsibilities:
· Book new construction jobs: assign job numbers, create folders, enter data into QuickBooks, simPRO, and billing sheets
· Confirm job details including costs, type, and tax exemption status; obtain missing info from customers as needed
· Follow up with Project Managers on monthly billing and collections
· Track and book change orders: manage proposals, logs, and billing sheets
· Coordinate construction scheduling and payroll (requires occasional after-hours flexibility)
· Assist with cost-to-complete reporting
· Support PMs with project closeouts: confirm 100% completion, manage warranties, and transition jobs to service sales for PM contracts
✅ Requirements:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to take initiative and ownership of responsibilities
· Excellent communication and follow-up skills
· Experience with QuickBooks and simPRO is a plus
· Prior experience in construction or project-based industries preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
