Tradeshow Manager & Trainer

Position Summary

The Tradeshow Manager & Trainer is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating company participation in tradeshows, conferences, exhibitions, and industry events. This role also develops and delivers training programs to ensure employees and tradeshow teams are prepared to represent the company professionally, engage prospects, generate leads, and maximize event ROI. The trainer will conduct product training for new hires and provide virtual training for customers and dealer reps as requested.

Key Responsibilities

Tradeshow & Event Management

• Develop and manage the annual tradeshow and event calendar.
• Coordinate event logistics, including booth selection, contracts, registration, shipping, setup, staffing, travel, and dismantling.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, operations and leadership to establish event objectives and strategies.
• Oversee booth design, signage, promotional materials, demonstrations, giveaways, and other event assets.
• Provide input on pre-show marketing and outreach campaigns to drive attendance and appointments.
• Coordinate and manage AMD live hands-on events.
• Ensure consistent company branding and messaging across all events.
• Coordinate lead capture, qualification, follow-up, and reporting after each event.
• Measure event performance, including all associated costs, leads, appointments, opportunities, revenue, attendance, and complete ROI.
• Maintain relationships with event organizers and industry partners.
• Identify new events and opportunities that align with company growth objectives.
  
  

Training & Team Development

• Gain clinical, technical, and practice value expertise on all AMD products
• Develop and deliver tradeshow training programs for sales, marketing, and event staff.
• Train team members on booth etiquette, customer engagement, product knowledge, qualifying questions, and lead-generation techniques.
• Provide product training for hew hires to ensure high confidence and quick results.
• Coach employees on professional communication, networking, presentations, demonstrations, and objection handling.
• Conduct virtual training for customers and dealer reps as requested.
• Provide post-event coaching and feedback to improve future performance.
• Help develop training materials, presentations, guides, checklists, and performance tools.
• Track training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on team and event results.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in tradeshow, event, field marketing, sales, or related management.
• Experience coordinating large-scale events and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, and project-management skills.
• Experience training, coaching, or developing employees.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, AI tools, and event-management platforms.
• Willingness to travel regularly for tradeshows and industry events.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, marketing, or a technical/product-focused industry.
• Experience managing national or international tradeshows.
• Familiarity with lead-generation and CRM processes.
• Experience developing formal training programs or sales enablement materials.
