Job Summary
The Bilingual Medical Assistant will support providers in delivering efficient and effective patient care while ensuring a positive experience for both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)
- Document patient history and chief complaints accurately
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Perform basic clinical tasks (injections, EKGs, specimen collection, etc.)
- Maintain and clean exam rooms between patients
- Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Verify patient information and update medical records
- Provide patient education and instructions as directed by provider
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Certification (CMA, RMA) preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
