What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic Journeyman position at Amcor Flexibles, LLC?
SUMMARY: To perform maintenance and repairs on the facility and associated equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Report to work on time and ready when shift begins.
2. Perform support area walk through at beginning of shift to determine any problems from the previous night, communicate with problems with maintenance supervisor.
3. Be on call to support production with any maintenance issues.
4. Troubleshoot and perform repairs as needed in the plant.
5. Work safely and report any unsafe conditions found in the facility.
6. Keep maintenance areas clean, neat and organized.
7. Complete all paperwork logging downtime on work orders as needed.
8. Report any spare parts or supplies to supervisor to reorder.
9. Perform repairs to the equipment in a quality manner quickly and efficiently ensuring work has been
completed properly and equipment is in good working order.
10. Keep maintenance supervisor informed of any need repairs to facility or equipment.
11. Perform verbal or written tasks as given by maintenance supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess some basic mechanical / electrical skills.
Ability to work well with others. Good
attendance.
