TITLE OF POSITION: Warehouse Shift Manager
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
JOB PURPOSE: To oversee all aspects of warehouse operations and provide leadership, guidance to warehouse personnel for a specific shift, 4 day work week, starting work at Noon.
JOB RESULTS:
- Provides work leadership, guidance and training to personnel.
- Reviews and conducts personnel issues, including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, etc. to all shift personnel, consulting with Warehouse Manager and Human Resources if necessary.
- Solves complex work related problems.
- Distributes, coordinates and reviews work assignments of personnel.
- Ensures accurate and timely receiving, stocking, pulling and delivery of product.
- Responsible for the safe operation of handling equipment.
- Establishes and maintains quality standards and work ethics.
- Controls payroll cost and hours to achieve incentive goals.
- Constantly monitors quality of work put out by employees to ensure incentive goals are met on OS and Ds.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree or 18 to 36 months of job-related training.
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
- Three to four years management and/or warehouse experience helpful.
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
