Key Responsibilities:
- Assist front end staff in the day-to-day operations of a high-volume practice.
- Answer incoming calls, take detailed messages and route appropriately.
- Verify patient data and documentation is accurately collected, scanned, and processed into Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Comply with requests for medical records from outside sources, including physicians, attorneys, and insurance companies.
- Follow up on information requests to ensure medical records are properly provided in a timely fashion.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure efficient record-keeping processes.
- Adhere to HIPAA Compliance & Safety Measures and Securing Patient Information & Confidentiality.
- Collect, sort and deliver mail as needed.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- EPIC knowledge
Education:
- Hire School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Work Location: On-site.
