Production Engineer – Chemical Manufacturing
We’re Hiring: Production Engineer
We’re looking for a motivated Production Engineer to join our chemical manufacturing team in Port Arthur, Texas. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with at least 1 year of experience who wants to grow their career in manufacturing, process improvement, safety, and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily chemical production and manufacturing operations
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot operating issues
- Assist with process optimization, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS teams
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity
- Assist with SOPs, process documentation, and engineering projects
- Support equipment commissioning, process changes, and plant improvement projects
- Follow and promote company safety, environmental, and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 1 year of engineering or chemical manufacturing experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/plant environment
- Familiarity with process safety, chemical processing, or continuous improvement is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
