Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical equipment and mechanical integrity needs for a chemical plant. Profit share, strong 401k, 9/80 schedule. This role reports directly to the Site Manager and will be responsible for equipment health and related PSM issues.
- Manage inspections and repairs of mechanical equipment (vessels, piping, relief devices, corrosion under insulation (CUI) program
- Manage the plant fire protection program and test/maintain SIS
- Coordinate management of change (MOC) and process hazards analysis
- Direct risk assessment techniques
- Lead, facilitate, or participate in plant incident investigations and conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA)
- Provide training to plant personnel regarding mechanical integrity and related process safety
- Initiate and manage projects related to mechanical integrity
- support fixed and rotating equipment
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
