Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $58.80 - $68.60 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License in good standing
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, acute care, outpatient, or home health settings preferred
- Strong communication, evaluation, and documentation skills
- Experience treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapy for communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient progress reviews
- Promote patient safety, independence, and improved quality of life

- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Competitive pay rate of $58.80 - $68.60 per hour
