• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized Phlebotomy training program preferred
• Current Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Previous phlebotomy experience in a hospital, laboratory, or clinical setting preferred
• Strong specimen collection and handling skills
• Excellent communication and patient service abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling
• Process and transport specimens according to established protocols
• Maintain compliance with infection-control and safety standards
• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear instructions during procedures
• Document specimen collection activities accurately
• Maintain equipment and supplies needed for specimen collection
• Collaborate with laboratory and healthcare staff to support patient care
