Job Description Position Summary The Community Relations Programs Seasonal Assistant provides support to all persons in the Community Relations Department, specifically Community Relations Programs. In addition to weekdays, the Seasonal Assistant will provide support during evening and weekend hours as dictated by the department’s events and game day responsibilities. Roles and Responsibilities Coordinate and assist with all military outreach, cancer outreach and additional programming Assist with the execution of Community Relations game day operations; specifically, military activation, Honorary Captains and additional community activation throughout the season Assist with the event planning and management of all player appearances, visits and special events Assist with the execution and fulfillment of player appearance requests from all departments of the business Assist with events/special group visits during Atlanta Falcons Training Camp Coordinate distribution and maintain database of necessary tickets and credentials associated with game day Assist with managing Falcons CR Twitter and Instagram accounts, keeping accounts constantly updated with new material and updating the monthly calendar Assist with processing, fulfilling and shipping donations using DonationXchange Manage Community Relations inventory, including appearance jerseys, equipment and promotional items Respond to Community Relations inquiries Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelors’ Degree Previous experience in event operations Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel Excellent time-management and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications and Education Two years’ experience in the sports industry Previous experience engaging with collegiate and/or professional athletes AMB Sports & Entertainment is a subsidiary of AMB Group LLC, and is comprised of the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons, Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United FC and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
