JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Pharmacy Courier is responsible for driving vehicles and the transportation of pharmaceuticals and other items from Hiawatha pharmacy to patient homes, nursing facilities, and other locations. They manage pickups and deliveries, as well as obtain electronic patient signatures. To ensure success, pharmacy couriers should be reliable and professional with outstanding routing and directional skills, and a passion for delivering pharmaceutical and other items punctually in various weather conditions. The Pharmacy Courier will possess effective record-keeping skills and work comfortably under tight deadlines to ensure the efficient transportation of pharmaceutical items while driving safely and respectfully. The Pharmacy Courier reports to the Pharmacist in Charge (or designee), will possess strong communication skills necessary to schedule and effectively deliver pharmaceuticals.

- Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years of General Driving Experience
- Preferred Experience: 5 Years of Courier Service driving.

- Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma
- Preferred Education: Associate degree

- Minimum Required Licenses: Class C Kansas Driver’s License
