Senior Pre-Sales / Solutions Engineer (NYC Based)
Location: New York (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Territory: North America

Compensation: $140,000 - 160,000 base comms

The Position:
Partner with Account Executives to support new business by delivering technically deep product demonstrations and solution design focused on autonomous AI and IT automation.
Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects, helping them understand how AI agents retrieve context, interact with systems, and take secure, real-world actions across IT environments.
Support a fast-growing sales organization selling a full-stack IT platform where AI is core to the product, not an add-on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Pre-Sales Support – Join sales calls and demos to present solutions, answer technical questions, and tailor demonstrations to prospect environments.
- AI & Automation Expertise – Explain how AI agents pull data from live systems, interact with APIs and tools, and operate within defined guardrails.
- Solution Design – Map customer IT workflows to platform capabilities across RMM, ticketing, patching, and automation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Product, R&D, and Support to address prospect requirements and feedback.
- Deal Velocity – Manage multiple opportunities in parallel while maintaining clear communication and organization.
Required Experience:
- 3 years experience in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consulting role.
- Strong technical understanding of IT operations, RMM, PSA, or help desk platforms.
- Solid foundational knowledge of AI and modern LLM capabilities.
- Comfort explaining how AI integrates with systems, APIs, and workflows.
- Familiarity with Windows environments; Mac and Linux experience a plus.
- Hands-on exposure to APIs, scripting, or integrations preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and customer-facing work.
- Ability to commute to a New York office three days per week.
