Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and test product samples using instrumental and wet chemistry methods
Perform daily process monitoring and record results in computerized systems
Maintain and store samples for verification when needed
Accurately document and report test results, notifying operations of any needed adjustments
Enter and manage data in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
Assist in monitoring production processes and recommend quality improvements
Perform light maintenance and calibration on lab equipment
Maintain proper lab inventory and request supplies as needed
Ensure equipment accuracy by comparing results to standards
Keep lab areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready
Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, OSHA, etc.)
Preferred Education & Experience:
2 years of science-related education
Experience in a lab or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with lab equipment (pH meters, balances, spectrophotometers)
Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word
Experience with lab documentation and data entry systems
Solid math skills for lab calculations
Strong attendance and safety record
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods
