Job Summary
Ambassador Mid-West Floor is hiring a Flooring Estimator responsible for preparing accurate flooring estimates, reviewing project specifications, and supporting sales and operations teams. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects move efficiently from bid to execution.
Responsibilities
· Review plans, specifications, and scope details
· Calculate labor and material quantities
· Prepare take-offs and pricing using estimating software
· Work with sales team to meet deadlines
· Coordinate with project managers and installation teams
· Maintain bid logs and estimating documentation
· Update estimates when scope changes
· Support tracking and reporting
Requirements
· Strong computer skills
· High attention to detail
· Organizational and time management skills
· Excel or spreadsheet proficiency
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines
· High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
· Flooring or construction experience
· Estimating experience
· RFMS or Measure software knowledge
· Blueprint reading ability
· Fast-paced office experience
