The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Key job responsibilities
- Develop and deploy mechanism to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities that benefit from internal manufacturing resources in a force multiplicative way. Continuously measure effectiveness of mechanisms.
- Communicate our vision and seek customer and stakeholder inputs to define our differentiation. Influence senior leadership through articulating our value proposition.
- Successfully operate in a complex customer ecosystem consisting of multiple stakeholders with differing priorities. You will leverage your deep experience to work within the Amazon technology deployment landscape to drive successful outcomes for our customers.
- Communicate with direct and indirect stakeholders to identify and report results, trends, and financial impact of business opportunities
- Develop programs to drive engagement within Amazon organizations like Stores and AWS .
- Be a key influencer in capacity planning and new manufacturing technology investments by clearly communicating impact to our customers and accompanying risks operations.
- Create scalable, long-term mechanisms to drive product features in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams to improve overall customer experience, speed and precision of our decisions.
- Influence, lead and orchestrate go-to-market motions, mechanisms, and initiatives for manufacturing solutions across our internal strategic customers.
- Define and establish best practices for customer discovery and success in the manufacturing space
- Author strategic documents and contribute to longer-term operational planning documents
- Make tradeoffs to negotiate actionable solutions that balance customer needs with technical feasibility
- Mitigate long-term risks associated with manufacturing initiatives
- Hire, mentor, and develop others within the organization
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
- Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams
- Experience owning and leading significant projects from concept to deployment
- Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
- Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
- Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
- Bachelor's degree in technical fields like industrial engineering, manufacturing or equivalent experience
- 6 years of experience in business development, technical product management, or customer success roles related to manufacturing and delivery of complex industrial products.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly pivot based on historical data and future projections
- Master's degree in engineering, management, or technology
- Experience driving adoption of new and disruptive technologies
- Experience influencing senior leaders/stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
- Experience in segmentation and developing customer profiles
- Experience with internal business development at Amazon within Amazon Operations and/or AWS.
- 3 years operational knowledge of decision making processes within Amazon Operations and/or AWS.
- Background in manufacturing technology, automation, tech deployment or industrial engineering
