Job Summary:
This position plays a critical role in identifying and engaging top talent to support the infrastructure services that power Amazon Web Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of candidate engagement, from initial outreach through reference checks, working closely with hiring managers and lead recruiters to understand business needs and build strategic sourcing plans. This role requires a balance of independent work and collaborative partnership, involving extensive dialogue with both internal stakeholders and external candidates across the United States. The position operates within established guidelines and processes while requiring the ability to adapt approaches based on specific hiring needs and candidate profiles.
Responsibilities:
• Source and recruit qualified candidates for infrastructure services positions supporting AWS cloud computing services
• Conduct candidate interviews and coordinate reference checks throughout the hiring process
• Partner with hiring managers and lead recruiters to conduct intake sessions and understand specific role requirements
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to meet high-volume hiring goals
• Initiate outreach to potential candidates through various channels including email and virtual communication
• Maintain regular dialogue with candidates to assess fit, answer questions, and guide them through the recruitment process
• Collaborate with team members to share learnings, best practices, and sourcing techniques
• Manage relationships with both internal customers and external candidates simultaneously
• Track and report on recruiting metrics and progress toward hiring goals
• Adapt sourcing approaches based on feedback from hiring managers and recruitment outcomes
Skills:
• Technical recruiting expertise with demonstrated success in high-volume environments
• Strong understanding of goal-driven performance metrics and accountability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for candidate and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to balance independent work with collaborative team participation

Experience:
• Minimum 6 years of technical recruiting experience in high-volume environments
• Alternatively, candidates with 1 year of successful experience at Amazon may be considered
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding hiring goals in technology sectors
Qualifications:
• Experience recruiting within the technology industry is required
