Prime Video delivers premium content to customers through purchase and rental of movies and TV shows, unlimited on-demand streaming through Amazon Prime subscriptions, add-on channels like Paramount and HBO, and live concerts and sporting events like NFL Thursday Night Football.
We are seeking a Manager, Global/US Release Strategy to join the team responsible for the release dates of Prime Video's Global and US Original/Exclusive series and movies, building scheduling strategies that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention for all customers. This role will help create release strategies, own company-wide deliverables to effectively communicate the slate, and partner closely with the Business Intelligence Engineering team to build scheduling specific dashboards and reports designed to improve the teams' ability to successfully implement industry-leading strategies.

Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive release planning for 150 Global/US original and exclusive series and movies, working with stakeholders to track readiness, identify risks that may affect planned release dates, and drive solutions to mitigate these headwinds
- Maintain release dates in scheduling systems, serving as the source of truth and guiding teams to action against the Global and US schedule
- Partner with Business Intelligence Engineers to leverage key metrics that guide scheduling decisions, analyze audience viewing patterns and preferences, and improve dashboards to improve the team's ability to move faster
- Serve as a thought partner in developing scheduling strategies and tactics, understand industry trends and competitive strategies to translate into broader learnings for executives, and contribute to the ongoing development of scheduling tools, systems, and processes that drive value to members
Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of program scheduling experience at a streaming service, network, or studio
- Extensive knowledge of the entertainment landscape and trends
- Strong analytical skills with experience partnering with data science teams
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of audience analytics and viewing behavior
- Ability to balance competing priorities and evaluate prioritization
- Strong communication skills to serve as the central source of truth

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
